Our mission is “To empower people of African descent to shape their own future and enhance their overall quality of life by creating and facilitating a dynamic framework for growth and development.”
Our vision is “That people of African descent have full inclusion in society without racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia, and related intolerance with all of the resources required to pursue the American dream and contribute to the overall economic and workforce development of the U.S.”
We have begun to provide business development, business grants and loans, technical assistance, workforce development, housing, housing assistance, real estate development, education, community development, cultural awareness, and technology services.
KGEDC will build a sustainable mixed-use real estate development in the south of Houston, TX area, which will include restaurants, a business development center and incubator, office space, meeting space, banquet rooms, farm, workforce development center, stores, theater, gym, and other commercial entities.
We will partner with HBCU’s to provide internships in architecture, engineering, planning, real estate development, marketing, and technology to their students giving them the opportunity to have hands-on experience in their fields of study. We will also support the students if they choose the entrepreneurial path.
We need funding to support our operations as we seek public/private partnerships and corporate sponsorships.
We believe the Economic Development is a Lifestyle!
