Being a Black man living and running a business in S. Korea for the US market is a challenge. A challenge that Buy Black Economics has helped me handling. I first used their crowdfunding platform to launch my Black Power socks. My campaign didn’t get fully funded due to my lack of crowdfunding knowledge. However, their platform and team help get my company exposed and a lot of those people who found me because of Buy Black Economics still are around.

Now, Buy Black Economics continues to market my company, Kimchi Socks, over their Instagram account which helps me gain more exposure.

Working with this team has been a pleasure and you should work with them too.

I just wanted to end my cycle with these lessons learned. As a twenty five year fund development professional, I know how hard it is for us as a people to maintain consistency in our efforts. This cycle I chose to work with Bbnomics, a new crowd funding source which is black owned. I, personally believe in recycling the black dollar as often as I can. This year, I did so, by supporting the boycott. We, as a people, are hardest on each other. Although Indiegogo is a larger non-Black site with greater resources, I believe with continued support Bbnomics will have a greater reach and support the dreams of many projects in the black community. I chose a thirty day cycle because I believed that we could be fully funded in such a short window of time. Let’s celebrate this accomplishment as the Susu moves forward in 2016. Hopefully, there will be 15+ donors in Cycle X

My name is Delayna Dobbins and I am the owner and primary clinician for Dobbins Clinical Consulting in Chicago IL. The goal of my business is to provide culturally-competent, low-cost mental health care and family support services for my predominantly Afrikan clientele.

I used BBNomics.com to help build a foundation for my budding business venture through the “Bringing More Healing to the Hood” crowdfunding campaign. I was apprehensive at first. But the team at BBNomics was very supportive; they answered all my questions, provided tools to help me reach my goal and learn how to successfully run my campaign, and they delivered on all that they said they would do. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give their service a strong 9. The ONLY REASON I would not give them a perfect ten is because the internet sign up form did not give campaign donors an opportunity to register their shirt size for the rewards that I will send (so I have to go back and individually contact each donor to collect this information), and also because there is about a 24hr lag time between knowing who donated and when they donated. These are very small issues that can be easily fixed. But besides these two small technical issues, I absolutely loved working with the BBNomics team. They made my heart glad to do business with them and to know that I could trust them to deliver the funds I raised. I wish this company success in their mission and I’m glad that I could be apart of your work. Thank you to the BBNomics.com team, and Job Well Done!!

I wanted to take the time to give my testimony about my awesome experience using BBnomic’s Crowdfunding site: In July a group I am a current member of used BBnomics for our Susu Cycle V, the administrator of the site was very accommodating and friendly. We had the most successful cycle using this site because we were able to gain supporters from those who were surfing the site! BBnomics is very competitive to the more widely known crowdfunding sites. The fees are lower then all the other sites, and the transfer of funding is safer in that they use paypal which has a very good reputation for businesses and individuals. The major thing that impressed me is how fast my concerns were met and how easy the site was to manage. I am so grateful for the work that BBnomics has and continues to do in our community! I will continue to promote your efforts! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
